Solve : Old bios definitions for CD? |
|
Answer» I am helping a friend with an old Micron computer. It has a Micronics M54HI MOTHERBOARD with a TEAC 56E cdrom. The system would not boot from a floppy, so I went to bios setup. Someone had put a PASSWORD on the bios setup program, so I jumpered it to reset. Big mistake. This board is so old, it does not recognize the cdrom. So, I NEED to define the CDROM as a User hard disk. I have been "googling" for HOURS and have been unable to find the GEOMETRY of a CDROM. Does anyone have a suggestion? |
