Solve : On-board Video Problem? |
|
Answer» My Pentium 4 (HP Compaq) on-board video seems to be void. It cannot display anything on screen besides "No signal" How can I replace it? Did you check to make sure the monitor cable is pluged in?? Did you check for bent PINS?? If it's on-board you can't replace it without replacing the entire motherboard. If it's on-board you can't replace it without replacing the entire motherboard. He could add a video card to replace onboard video, even if it's a PCI card. Of COURSE, if he has an AGP slot, that would be the better choice.Check monitor cable, as well. You may just CONNECT your monitor to another computer, if you don't have any extra monitor cable. Also, have you TRIED another monitor with this computer? Or have you tried this monitor on another computer? |
