Solve : One speaker problem.? |
|
Answer» My right speaker has this static sort of noise that comes out of it WHENEVER I listen to music or play any other types of audio. I purchased some new speakers today and the right one still has that same problem. It'll distort the sound coming from the right so I have to keep my sound controls all on the left speaker til I can get this fixed. Did you try to reinstall sound driver? XP and how exactly do I reinstall it?What sound adapter do you have LISTED in Device Manager?Quote from: Broni on August 02, 2008, 08:14:57 PM What sound adapter do you have listed in Device Manager? Realtek AC97 Audio.Go here: http://tinyurl.com/69c58z Download new driver. Go to Device Manager, uninstall current driver, and install new one.Quote from: Broni on August 02, 2008, 08:28:41 PM Go here: http://tinyurl.com/69c58z Well, I did that and it still has the static.I'd try another pair of speakers to eliminate some possibilities.Quote from: Broni on August 02, 2008, 09:19:00 PM I'd try another pair of speakers to eliminate some possibilities. Well you see, I had this problem before with my old speakers and I thought "Well, maybe they're just dying" so I bought these new speakers today and I have the same exact problem with the right one so it is a bit odd.In that case, I'd suspect speakers' jack on the back of your computer. They do go bad. You may consider real sound card. If you don't need ANYTHING FANCY, they're cheap. |
