Solve : Only one disk reads? |

Answer» my CDROM drive will only read one disk...i moved about a month ago and still had a game disk in my drive; tonight i set my COMPUTER up again and everything worked fine until i put another disk into the drive...it couldnt read the disk and made sounds like it was 'turning over'...i put the original game disk back in and the CDROM read it fine...ive done all my windows UPDATES and checked drivers...i put in a number of other disks as well (CD dvr) and those wouldnt read either...my thoughts are that the CDROM is 'looking' for a certain disk and WONT recognize anything other than that one disk...but i DONT know what to do about it...PLEASE help, thanks!Probably busted. |
