Solve : Open forum inside a page?

Answer»

Hi All,

I have a website running on Plone and I have an SMF forum HOSTED with another company.

My question is - How can i open the forum within a page on the main website so that the visitors never know that they have left the site.  Or even just keep the header picture/buttons.  I think that this can be DONE with frames but there are no frames CURRENTLY on my website and I am new to javascript so I don't really know what to do.  I really need a simple, easy guide.

Main Website: www.codingcafe.co.nr
Forum:  www.codingcafe.x10hosting.com

Thanks in advance,
Cameron GrayAre you unable to host the forum on your own site?

THOUGH not SEO friendly, an iframe will be your best bet.I think an iFrame is the only option. Thanks for all your responses.

No - The current server that HOSTS the website does not have the software required to run the forum.

I was thinking that but I don't know how to do that.  Can anybody help me set that up? Code: [Select]<iframe src="http://www.codingcafe.x10hosting.com/" width="100%" height="400">

</frame>

Your browser does not support frames

<-- this is only displayed, obviously, if the user's browser doesn't use frames.

Don't set the height attribute to a percentage as it won't work in IE.
