Answer» Hello all, I just have a QUICK QUESTION. Is it better to overclock a i7 920 to about 3.6 with water-cooling, or to buy a new processor?Also, If i do overclock it, does the memory frequency and voltage requirement for the memory change?I have a i7 930 overclocked to 4.0 and I have had no problems at all, but it's up to you to decide if you want to overclock. I say this because OVERCLOCKING can LEAD to damage if not done correctly and I don't think anybody would want to be blamed for giving you the wrong information. |
