Answer» Im having a problem. Sometimes when I click a link, my PC instantly reboots like I pressed the reset button. Can anyone tell me if this is an overheating issue? I have abit EQ on my pc and temps seem ok. Any ideas would be appreciated.
ThxWe need more information, Please look here.Ok, here is my system
Abit KV7 main board
AMD Athlon XP3000+ CPU (not over clocked)
Ultra 1gig pc3200 DDR 400 mhz RAM
Ultra copper based fan (the big red one)
Maxtor 160 gb EIDE drive
Soyo 10 bay case with 400 watt pwr supply
Windows 2000 Pro
The problem just started the other day. It reboots at random when i click a link. The ABIT EQ prog says the following temps at the time of this POST....
CPU 135 DEG F.
PWM 156 deg F.
VCore 1.63v
+3.3v is 3.26v
+5v is 5v
DDRV is 2.7
AGPV is 1.6
I am suspecting a bad power supply. It has been running for around three years now basically 24/7.CPU 135 deg (135 °F = 57.2 °C) F Idle? Desktop, or laptop? What PROCESSOR is it?What Link? On the internet?
