1.	Solve : PC's DVD region counter changing by itself??
Answer» It was set at 5 when I installed it and now it says one change REMAINING. Rarely used it to watch movies and never played ANYTHING but R1 or R0 discs, never got a warning to change region or that it was being changed. I'm in region 1 so it's not really a problem but I'm confused as to how this could happen. I've never changed it manually and was wondering if there were any known software or hardware issues that could CAUSE this. I have updated the DVD firmware occasionally but it was legit software from NEC, no hacks. Thanks. Windows XP HOME SP2, NEC ND-3520AW DVD-RW.Any teenagers in the house ? ? No (lol). I have sole access and the computer is behind locked doors when I'm at work.I haven't heard of this happening. Strange indeed. I'll have a look around this evening...
