Answer» Hi, my computer starts automatically as soon as i plug it in. You usually have to TURN it on. Also, nothing is happening with the monitor. These 2 problems originally occured simultaneously. Please help!!! there was a Trojan Horse virus on it if that's any help. I ran AVG, but a trojan downloader file kept appearing and thus so did the trojan.Scan for spyware as well. You may be ABLE to set the computer's power on behaviour in the BIOS. BIOS information and helpJackson Kelly.......Perhaps you could let us in on which pest AVG has identified . Have you confirmed that the on /off switch or button is functioning properly ? let us KNOW dl65 control panel/system/advanced/settings system failure/uncheck the -automatically restart....feature...does it cure it?It might be handy to check if you have your Wake On Lan Cable plugged into the mobo? //EDIT So it turns on a soon as you plug it in? Could it be that the switch in the CASE is stuck? (Also Check mobo settings..)
