Solve : PC switches off itself? |
|
Answer» I really hope someone can help me here as i am at my wits end. Check your cpu fan, heat sink fitment & thermal paste.just tried that and got the original message " NTLDR is missing press ctrl alt + delete to restart then it just swwitched off again so I left it switched off for about half an hour and tried switching it on again and it started the install for about 45 seconds and then switched itself off AGAIN!!! Go into BIOS and check your temps, stay there for a while and see if it shuts down.Quote from: Fed on July 31, 2007, 05:53:09 PM Go into BIOS and check your temps, stay there for a while and see if it shuts down.I tried what you SUGGESTED and i have noticed that when it starts up it runs about 73 degrees and it will shut down about 96 degrees , so I think you have hit the jackpot the CPU is totally goosedQuote from: Fed on July 31, 2007, 03:23:53 PM Check your cpu fan, heat sink fitment & thermal paste.
