Answer» I'm a TOTAL newbie on this site, so I'm sorry if I am posting in the wrong place.
I am building a PC from scratch and I cannot GET it to start. I am wondering if it has something to do with the front panel wires not quite matching the motherboard.
I have:
motherboard - elitegroup K8T890-A (ATX compatible) PROCESSOR - AMD Athalon 64 case - antec P150 minitower (also says it's ATX compatible)
Also have SATA HD, vid card, 1gig RAM, DVD drive, etc.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could TELL me if the front panel wires not quite matching could be the reason the computer won't start--even THOUGH I can hook up both start and restart in the right places and leave the LED ones off. Or is there any other reason why it won't start?
Thanks so much. :-)
