Answer» I just bought a new power supply and video CARD (evga 8800 gtx). After INSTALLING them whenever i try to start it up all of the fans and lights come on but there's no post and it just beeps. Since i just spent over 500 bucks on new parts, i'm very anxious to get this resolved!!Welcome to the CH forums. Please README and also advise which bios is used (manufacturer) and the beep code (two shorts one long or constant single short beep etc...) motherboad: ecs elitegroup nforce6m-a with Award BIOS it is a constant short beepingCheck to see if your memory sticks are properly seated. They may have come LOOSE when you were working INSIDE with the video card and power supply.thanks for the recommendation but i figured it out. I had to reset my cmos and bios by pulling out the battery and letting it sit for 10 min. i really do appreciate the idea, thanksSee there...you didn't need us...LOL! Glad you got it working...
