Answer» I have a AMD PC 2100 motherboard. Problem is that only the RED and green lights flash. but no power to cd roms or anything ELSE. the cpu fan powers up but THATS it. I am totally stumped because i already. Bought a new mother board, CPU, RAM, Power supply, and it still doesn't WORK. if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to help a brother out.oh yeah i forgot to add that I don't get any beep codes.Set the BIOS to it's defaults by using the clear CMOS jumper. Ensure everything is seated and connected correctly. If it is, strip everything out except: PSU motherboard power connector(s) 1 processor and heatsink assembly (This must be correctly FITTED and heatsink compound correctly applied) 1 known good memory module 1 keyboard 1 graphics card, preferably PCI You must disconnect both power and data cables to drives etc.Already cleared the BIOS as described before. and I completely stripped it yesterday with everything described but i still have the same prob.Now you need substitute components or specialist equipment. Your best bet is to take the whole thing to a local and trusted computer repair shop.
