Answer» I have a moserbaer Pendrive which has loads of stuff in it. When ever I BOOT my computer by plugging it, my PC doesn't start it gets struck up on the boot screen which has a blinking Icon and black background, what can be the possible issue, how can I SOLVE it. And FYI I have not FORMATTED my Flash for months together. It's possibly because your PC is set to boot from USB before the internal HDD, or at least to check to see if there's a USB device to boot from. Enter the BIOS and check your boot order, and see if there's an option for "boot from other devices" or similar - if so, disable it. Hope this helps.but when I keep other pendrives it boots normally! Can you explain why? Possibly something on the drive that makes the BIOS see it as a bootable drive EVEN though it's not, have you ever used it as a bootable drive? For example as a Linux boot disk, Windows installer, or with a toolkit like the UBCD?Maybe I used it once for linuxThe easiest way around is to copy what you need off the drive, format it, and copy the FILES back. Sounds like you still have a boot record on there which makes the PC try to boot from the drive.Even if you format the Pen Drive, it will still stall your PC. I have the same problem. The simple solution is to plug in the Pen Drive only after the PC boots from the hard drive. Do you really need the explanation?
