Answer» i hav a transcend 8gb pen drive..when i connect it to my pc it gets connected but when i double clcik it it says "please insert disk into drive"..what can be done to it...because every pen drive shows the same error..More INFO... Does it work on other MACHINES ? Did it ever work ? What ver. of Windows ? How does it show up in Disk Management ? ? Help us to help you.it does not work on other machines..it was working perfectly in the morning..windows xp....in diskmgmt it jus shows as removable disk:"No Media"...Then it was removed prematurely without USING "Safely Remove Hardware" and more than likely all your data is gone and it needs to be FORMATTED to use again. Did you right clik it and select properties in Disk Management ? ? Does it say RAW ? ?
