Answer» Hi there! I did a search for this problem, there are two threads, however none of them HOLD any answers. So I'll try one more time. I have a PHILIPS 200XW monitor, when I plug it in my pc/laptop, the monitor shows the image for about 1-2 secs, after that it turns black. I can get my VIDEO signal through, but the screen turns black shortly after. I've tried it on different electricity networks, and tried switching the cables around. Any help or hints WOULD be GREATLY appreciated. Sincerely yours!Could be the backlight, or a problem in the electronics that drives the display. You need to take it to a repair center or else buy a new one.
