Answer» I am currently creating a music website and am putting mp3 download links on the site. When SOMEONE clicks on the LINK, I want the BOX to come up to ask them where they want to save the file. The only way that I know how to do this is just to put in a regular link, and the person has to right click and hit "save target as". How do I put in the links where the box automatically pops up, when someone clicks to download??? The MP3 aren't copywrited, right? You could zip the files instead, but every time I GO to download an MP3 I have to right-click and "save as", so I know no way of doing this.I've never seen a way to automatically download instead of save an mp3. I'm sure there is a way though. Perhaps there's a PHP or cgi script that will work.
