Answer» Hi guys, I was playing a video game on my PC today when all of a sudden my screen turned into a bunch of lines, that I can only describe as being a plaid pattern. I hit the power to turn off my pc and when it rebooted the same lines were all over the screen again, and I was unable to see ANYTHING on screen much less do anything about it. I think windows still loaded, but I could hear my PC rebooting after a few mins. Do you think that my graphics card is not working or is it something else. Thanks.The first thing i WOULD LOOK at is the GFX card, See if you can Borrow one form some one and give it a go. But first Reaseat the one you have , IE take it out and put it in again. I may have overheated playing the game and Burnt out.How about some specifics about your equipment, it's AGE, what things have changed recently, etc. ?
