Solve : Playing with Apple...?

Answer»

[smiley=vrolijk_1.gif] I've been given an Apple Pro keyboard and optical mouse and have them working with XP Home in a non-Mac ENVIRONMENT. The mouse doesn't have buttons as such and no means of right clicking but have resolved that problem by downloading a utility which allows the use of Ctrl+mouse as R.click. Anyone know how to get the mouse to scroll :-?

[smiley=dankk2.gif]Im familier with the Apple mouse on Windows XP right-click method, but im not familier with Apple mice.

The only way to scroll is to have a scroll wheel or ball. For less than $20.00 BUCKS you can get a decent mouse and keyboard combo...

I totally AGREE, they are very cheap and its worth it to try and make ur exsisting one work when U can get a new one that does what u want and more, for next to nothing.[smiley=lolk.gif] Yeah yeah I agree and do already own scrolling meeces of various makes and vintages. The purpose is to try to get the Apple mouse scrolling if it's possible, perhaps with a leetle bit of help from friends. Does no-one ever try to do something different without dashing out to the store to solve a problem by replacing rather than experimenting. Sheesh fellahs, don't get all serious with me, the subject is [highlight]Playing with Apple...[/highlight]! [smiley=dankk2.gif]

[smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]I guess it's a CHALLENGE to run hardware on a machine that is not designed for the purpose...

I'll pass on this one though.
