Solve : Please Help!! I can't upload my website? |

Answer» HELP!!!! I am having serious problems with getting my webpages online!! I don't know what to do, I am not good at this stuff at all!! I feel like a real dummy... Okay, so I have already purchased my domain name, my web host and paid to have my catalog uploaded to the subdomain, that is all running smoothly. I also have created all the other webpages (homepage, contact page, about us page, etc...) and I have uploaded them to the ftp. address. But they are not showing up on the http://www. address. I don't get it So, I am just looking for someone who can help me to get my site online. Do you know where I can pay for this TYPE of service (not too expensive please) Or am I just MISSING some small stupid piece to this puzzle which can be done easily myself? I have tried finding the information, but unfortunately nothing makes sense to me, I am at my wit's end and I just want the site to be online!! Please RESPOND!! For example, my site address is: www.gamesfyi.2ya.com ... However, to view a certain page, such as the home page, I would need to go to: www.atlantawebsiteproductions.com/gamesfyi/home.php ... So you might need to do something like that... Here's what to do... Go into your SERVER.. Do you see a file that you have uploaded? I want you to right-click on it, and select properties... Look at "path". That will show you the EXACT location of the file... Let me know what happens... FlameGo into your server and look for the public_html folder. That's where you should place your files. Or a main folder. (Not all sites have public_html as their main folder ) FlameHi, Had the same problem had to change my Homepage name to Index or Home as this is the one that my ftp recognised.i am also having problems that when i upload my webpage it will not show the pictures, i just get a white box with a red cross in the corner, any ideas?. thanks PakmacYour links are probably still pointingtoyour hard drive.
