Solve : Please help me to enter BIOS!?

Answer»

Hello!
Hope someone would help.
My Windows does not boot. Computer reboots continuosly, Safe modes do not WORK too. I wanted to boot from Windows disc, but first boot device is not CD/DVD drive. I can't enter to BIOS setup to change it, 'cause some ''good friend '' has locked it. I've tried many 'universal pwds', but none of them was useful.
I CAN'T reach the BIOS chip itself to reset it by removing battery etc. Also, because of this the manufacturer of my bios is unknown. All I know is: Micro-Star International AMD chipset ('ve read it from driver disk).
By the way, most of proposed pwds include more than 8 symbols. My prompt is only of six. MAYBE I should look for different topics than 'universal bios passwords'? Than how should my question look like?
The prompt is placed on the center of the empty black screen and looks like:
                                  Enter CURRENT Password:
and gives three tries. After them - F1 request and another rebooting.
Maybe this could help to see something particular relating my chip...
Please tell me some pwds that really work! Or some password bypassing combinations...
Sorry about such an annoying question. I'm desperate. eF One! Mighty MAGICIANS, where are you?
Thanks for paid attention. R.S.V.P.I really don't know any way around it other than removing the CMOS battery or tripping the reset jumper (if you have one).  Why can't you get to the battery?  Is this a laptop?    No, it is not a laptop. I can't 'cause machine is shut tight with warranty seal. And since it actually not only mine, I wouldn't intrude. Quote from: Archer on AUGUST 22, 2008, 07:57:52 AM

If it is under warranty, I would use it before tampering with the machine.    Thanks for replies.
Of course, it is the simplest way. I'd used it too. But I don't think that one can call bypassing (or even cracking) bios password the tampering. Besides, using warranty is unavailable for some time, and the computer needed as soon as possible.
Maybe anyone knows another method?Personally, I don't see any way to get into a locked machine without getting access inside.

Perhaps someone else will come along with some more suggestions though.I'm with cabron.  I think you're pretty out of luck without opening it.  Or guessing the password.        But there has to be working backdoor passwords! Or is this only the fairy tale?
I've already cracked bios pwd on another computer using cracker. So some of such the solutions work! Only problem - it has to be launched from Windows to which I can't get... And it is just a mega bummer! We don't crack passwords around here, and we don't help with those KIND of issues.Hint: Warranty. That's why it's there.
