Solve : pluged in and not working?

Answer»

hi, i have made a new PC from scratch, everything is plugged in but it does not seem to work when i try the bower button, i have a optical mouse pluged into it which lights up when i turn the POWER on, but the power button does not work at all, i have plugged my power button into the RIGHT part of the motherboard and that does not do anything still, i have also tryed puttin the power button in the reset slots HDD and all the others, this still does not allow me to actually start up my pc. if anyone could help me PLEASE send me a E-mail at either [email protected] or [email protected]I can post this much for you, if you just randomly started connecting you power button to every header on the board and trying it, whether it worked before or not, you could have very well destroyed your mother board.

And if you CHECK 'notify of replies' when posting, the forum auto emails you if someone has replied to your post. If I am wrong, someone please correct me.Did you install the lpso devices? Quote

?Your system has been assembled incorrectly or something is broken.

If you fix it, it should work.

If you need further help, at least tell us what you're putting together and how (motherboard, operating system, case, assembly procedures, etc.).

If you have the assembly procedures, tell us at what step it adviced you to begin plugging in your power to all available motherboard pins.

Also, make sure you keep the motherboard receipt/warranty paperwork.  You're gonna need it if you continue to randomly hook up connections.
