Solve : pocket pc?

Answer»

we have a hp ipaq pocket pc.  Can anyone give me information on how l GET it up and working with the net and msn messanger which are already on it. Do you have the instruction manual that came with it? Those are helpful. If not, you should be able to download a copy at the HP web site.Which model are you using?
I'm using h2210, and it needs an optional CF adapter (dial-up/broadband/Wi-Fi) to connect to the INTERNET.Jodie:

I agree with GX1 and Michael.  Also, you may want to synchronize your iPAQ with your DESKTOP or laptop COMPUTER using the Microsoft ActiveSync program (you should be able to install it from the CD that came with your iPAQ).

ActiveSync will allow you to copy certain favorites from Internet Explorer so you may view web pages OFFLINE on your iPAQ even if you are not connected through a Wi-Fi hotspot.  To create a favorite that you may view on your iPAQ even if you are not connected to the Internet, do this:

1. In Internet Explorer on your PC or notebook computer, click (or tap) Tools | Create Mobile Favorite.
2. Connect your iPAQ to the computer and verify that Microsoft ActiveSync says it is connected and synchronized.
3. Open ActiveSync and select the Sync Options tab
4. Make sure Favorites is checked, and click or tap OK.
5. In Microsoft ActiveSync, click or tap the Sync button.
6. When it shows Favorites are synchronized, the mobile favorite you created will now be on your iPAQ to view whenever you want to.

Blessings to you,
