I was thinking of upgrading my pc, I have a wt70ec motherboard with a p4 chip 1300mhz. whats the next STEP up? will ALSO be be upgrading hd and ram. thanksYou haven't TOLD us much about your objective. What's your budget for this? Do you want a good gaming machine? If not, what's your primary use?

What all were you thinking of upgrading? Motherboard? Processor? Do you want to have a system with PCI Express video card? sorry, i'm just looking to a have a machine that runs quicker, not much of a gamer but the KIDS are starting to. budget of around €200.0. at the moment i have 512mb of ram and 80g (nearly full) hard disk.

cheersA bigger hard drive is clearly in the picture. One upgrade you did not mention is one I would consider here is the video part of the system. Does your computer currently use onboard video? If so, does it also have an AGP slot? If you now have an add-on video card installed, what is it? In fact, I think having that info from you before proceeding further with this discussion would be helpful.
