I would love to post some photos of my server... it and its ancient awesomeness... (from 1997...) Here's mine at work. the computer on the left changes EVERY so often.
the one on the left looks awesome! the screensaver is from www.reallyslick.com
the one on the right is my new Dell 24" widescreen. Quote from: michaewlewis on December 11, 2007, 09:18:48 PM

And what sort of career requires 3 computers? Looks like some sort of server administration center... (I plan on going into System Administration) the one on the right is my internet computer, which I can't manage as I'm not in the IT department.

the MIDDLE one is my development computer that is on the controls network that has no internet connection for security reasons. We can't really have people breaking into our system and turning up the chlorine in everyone's drinking water.... I'm the network admin for the controls network.

the one on the left is a test/deployment computer. I'm getting it ready to be given to a user. I had a nas server sitting in its place for a couple months before that one. It was pretty LOUD.

Why dont you connect it... by accident, and then share the IP address with us and open up some random ports that go to nothing...
mmm... that drinking water would be good then

What sort of facility do you work in? (I am going to guess the public utility district, water department, but you never know...) I work for a municipality and maintain the computers and network that interface with the water treatment plants and wastewater treatment plant.
Anyone else gonna post some pics.....
