Answer» I am currently in the process of building a new computer. USING the Intel E6850 dual core 3.0Hz, 4GB DDR2 RAM, 2 500 GB hard drives, and the Nvidia 8800GT processer so you can see there all new(ish) and I am not messing around.
I turned the PC on for the first time yesterday and got to the POST and then the PC asked for a system disk (as no Operating System is installed yet) I then tried to put in my copy of Vista and the power went off.
I have tried to start it up on several occasions and have got into BIOS as well as just starting up the process of installing Windows and the PC constantly loses all power. The loss of power happens at various random times but always within 30 SECS of turning on.
Any help that could be offered would be greatly appreciated.
