Answer» 2002 ATX PC. Power comes on only for an instant; enough to turn the fans a second. PSU is good(tested on other COMPUTER). AC source is good. Connections to motherboard are good. Power on switch is good. Thoughts? Has the machine been moved recently ? ?Yeah it's been moved. In fact, I'm USING it and another like it to experiment and LEARN from.Remove and re-seat both the RAM and any addon cards that are installed... Gently shake the case to SEE if there may be a LOOSE screw rattling around in there...this is known to short out the MBoard.Unbelievable, it was the RAM! Thanks Patio!Excellent!
