Solve : Power supply and USB?

I have a CUSTOM built computer. The power supply is 430w. I suspect it is not enough power. The USB ports are working, but when I plug in a flash drive or external hard drive they won't show up. The USB mouse works, but that's about it. COULD I need a BIGGER power supply?

No. Windows limits current to USB port at 0.50A (2.5Watts)Try this...

Turn off your computer using Shut Down or pressing the power button and then UNPLUG it from the wall outlet. Let it sit for about a minute and then plug it back in....doesn't always work but you might get LUCKY.
