1.	Solve : Power supply shuts down?
Answer» I read an article on how to GET a SWITCHING power supply to turn on when it's not hooked up to a mother board. Now I just have to FIND out how to keep the power supply from shutting down when I PLUG something into it(car stereo, 12volt r/c battery charger, etc.). If I plug the stuff in, then turn on the power supply on it works fine. But if I turn off say, the car stereo then turn it on again the power supply shuts down. How can I get around this? I'm using a 400 watt Powmax ATX Switching Power Supply. Can anyone help?Fed is the resident electrician. Hopefully he will be along soon to enlighten us all on this gripping topic.This is shooting from the hip I suspect when you start with the things plugged in the power supply stabilises &AMP; gives you an output (like normal) When you plug in or turn on after the supply is running, it senses the power drain as unstable & shuts down. Why are you doing this, maybe there's another way?Why not simply use an AT PSU?
