Answer» I am completing a new build. I INSTALLED memory and CPU pressed the POWER switch, the CPU came on then immediately shut down. I have changed the direction of the power switch leads on the board, same RESULT. Can anyone suggest what I may be doing wrong?Welcome to the forum ! 1. installing motherboards requires good placement of the standoffs (LITTLE screws on the back of the motherboard secured to the case) ..at least nine*
2. heatsink/ fan / cpu did u use artic 5 or a paste to secure the cpu to the heatsink ?
3. installed memory ... 1# stick or two ? dual channel is the WAY to GO* memory compatible to your mobo specs ?
4. I have always had issues with the wires from the case to the mobo (motherboard) I always screwed them up ! check them first
