Solve : Powered USB Hub & adding another ??

Answer»

Greetings All

I'm a Doughnut when it comes to this stuff, so be gentle with me! ... It's my first time!

OK using a 7 PORT powered usb hub, and I want to add the same again (link together), can this be done? and if so how? ....... (simple terms please) ........

I think you can but the power of the USB will be very weak (Such as transfering infomation back and FORTH will be slow, or the slot might be to weak to power up anything...).Quote from: Doughnut ! on June 15, 2007, 03:07:14 PM

By, "powered", you mean it has an AC adapter that plugs into a wall outlet?

Have you visited the manufacturer's website to search for an answer to your question?Normally, you can "daisy chain" them together.
But it would be better for the transfer rate to just plug each hub into a different port, assuming you have 2 or more on your PC.
Check the manufacturer's site as suggested.
