Answer» hi am new to the forum and i am in dire need of help if anyone is able to give me advice please .i am working with xp and have tried to create a network using peak powerline home plug turbo . i am trying to connect a laptop and x box to a pc and cable broad band modem .the story so far . although internet is available to the pc the other DEVICES are recognised on the CONFIGURATION utility but are unable to connect .resulting in no internet connection .this is so frustrating as by all accounts of the systems user they say their networks were set up in 5 Min's this has TAKEN me 2 days and i am sure all ETHERNET cables are connected because the devices are recognised . please please please can anyone help me get connected on line. bazza. Not very many have experience with that. Exactly wish brand are you using? Power line Ethernet is said to be tghe most easy kind to set up if compared to wireless and broadband. Did you try the FAQ on their website? Some more details please. Are both machines in the same Workgroup ? ? How exactly is your Network set up ? ?peak powerline instructions . failed to say turn on all PERIPHERALS before router . all well and good now .thanks for input .bazza
