Answer» Hello:
I'm working on a pc & printer. When I try to print, I get an ERROR message: The print SPOOLER was unable to connect to your printer.
The pc is running xp and connected to a lan (wireless). The printer is also connect to the lan via ethernet cable. I can ping the printer ok, just can't get past the spooler problem.
Any suggestions?Click on START, OPEN RUN
type services.msc click OK
Scroll down to "print spooler", right click and select "restart" Give it a few moments and try printing again..
Make sure also that you are using updated DRIVERS... Reinstall the drivers if you have to...Thanks. Actually I figured it out. The printer's IP address was switched to auto and subsequently changed. I switched it back to the MANUAL address that the network recognizes.
