Solve : Printer does not shut down?

1.	Solve : Printer does not shut down?
Answer» I started to USE my printer to scan some FILES and when I turned it off it said shutting down, but for some apparent reason it does not SHUT down. I disconnected the wire from the back of the printer and then reconnected it, but nothing seems to work. My printer is an hp psc 1610 all in one. I NEED some ADVICE on what to do.
