Solve : Printer Issue???

Answer»

The downside about epsons (one of the many) is that the print head unit is not ALWAYS removable, and therefore difficult (if not impossible) to clean. I hope you are able to remove it.I'm not sure ones a c66 and the other is a c82. www.epson.comDon't have any rubbing alcohol right know. Is there anything else that I could use. I found a c82 manual. This is a silly statement...rubbing alcohol is about 29 cents a pint at any Drugstore.I can't since I'm not a legal drive.Where are you...in the middle of Wyoming ?
Is no one you know going to the drugstore in the next month ?No I live outside of a town in PA. Today I will but I wanted to save some money and just in case I don't end up going. The closet thing is a half hour drive.Quote from: squall_01 on February 08, 2008, 04:01:24 AM

A half hour drive? You should be able to find rubbing alcohol at a gas station/convenience store/drug store/grocery store...

Like PATIO said... we're talking cents here. I'd be surprised if you spend over a dollar on the ENTIRE bottle.I have some know the c82 was really bad.Quote from: squall_01 on February 12, 2008, 10:05:10 AM

really bad as in really dirty?

Is it working now?Yes very old dried up ink. I got this as a free printer from one of my dads bosses and it worked for a while then it. POOF no prints. I dont have a driver but I dont no with dial up if I can pull it off epson. If it's been a long time you may need new cartridges too, they very possibly dried up or clogged due to sitting unused for so long.

Try to get the driver first though. Sometimes they'll offer you a driver on CD that they'll ship to you for a small SHIPPING fee, if your dial-up is too slow to get it.There all some what new. It mite just be the computer its a pent 3. So I'm not sure if cleaning it really helped yet.
