Solve : Printer trouble.?

I have an EPSON STYLUS c42 SERIES printer.When I try to install the software all I get back is "RPC server unavailable".Please help.Sounds like it's something to do with your services....did you disable any services from services.msc?
GO to start - Run - type "services.msc" without the quotes and hit enter
Scroll to Remote Procedure Call and Remote Procedure Call Locator and start them both, then try installing again
