Answer» Hi, LOOKING for some help in sourcing a new printer which must print from DOS. I need a printer that can print directly from DOS. The one area that I would appreciate some help with is the printer language. I've found that GDI (used by Brother amongst others) is no good for printing with DOS. What about PCL 6? Is there a printer language I should be looking out for which I KNOW will work with my program? MANY thanks.Is this for pure text printing or are there some pics??You could use something like DOSPRN http://www.dosprn.com/ to do the TRICK.
