I have an EPSON SX600FW printer and it has started printing very small. If I CLICK on the Printer Preferences page of the printer and then Page Layout there is a box ticked that says Reduce/Enlarge Document and then a percentage selection of 60%.
If I untick this box, it prints fine, but the next time I try to use it, the box is ticked again and it prints small. I've tried clicking the Reset Default box but this also only works once. It's making it impossible to print remotely from my laptop. I'm using Windows 7 and it doesn't do this for any of the other users except mine.
Has anyone got any ideas?
ThanksBased on the INFORMATION provided i am going to assume that only you are using win 7 and the others are using other operating systems.Have your printer drivers been updated to those applicable to windows 7? Is this a new phenomenon that did not exist at an earlier time where all the factors now present have always been present or was something recently changed?Is the printer set up on a SHARED network and which user's printer is designated the master (home) printer and are the changes of preferences being executed from that computer? truenorthHi
The other users on the PC are also using Windows7 and have no problems. The printer isn't on a network, but it's connected by WiFi to my laptop.
The only change I've possibly made to the system is that I've bought an iPad2 and have accessed the printer (which Isn't AirPrint enabled) via an App from PrintBureau, together with a small helper application on my PC called WePrint. I'm fairly sure that the printer worked OK before that, but not quite 100% sure.
As I say, I can reset the Print to normal, but it reverts to small printing the next time I use it.
