One thing i found wierd(on the back of my pc i have a monitor plug on the top side and one on the bottom side (this is a picture link so you can understand what im saying)  http://puu.sh/8cOam/c5f7de7ff0.jpg

The new(1st screen) is plugged at the bottom as you can see and that works but the second one will not work when plugged at the top.. i've tried switching both a few times and it just never works.

I have a blue wire and a white wire i am not sure which one im supposed to use either.(i am very bad at this)

If you can help that would be great tyHi

Well i would use an HDMI cable to the HP monitor from the socket above where you have the white plug attached.
That's the socket on the card not on the motherboard. The computer will then have the option to output sound on the HP monitors speakers.
The new monitor will be the DEFAULT monitor with the HP as the 2nd.

P.S The information you gave is perfect, 100% exactly what is needed to offer advice. Thank you    Quote from: Lisa_maree on April 17, 2014, 05:06:35 PM
