Solve : Problem W/ Display video?

Answer»

Hi,
I have a problem with my monitor.
Basically what i've done in control panel> Display > under the tab "settings", and clicked on the button "advanced". and within that, in the tab " ADAPTER", adapter type under properties, "general" tab, I accidentally disabled the device USAGE. and restarted my computer. after this was done, my computer was able to turn on but not able to display my desktop. Now i cant go back and see my desktop. is there a way to change this back??
#1 - Boot into safe mode and try to fix it there ( Might have to alter REGISTRY setting if you cant mofidy the display properties.)

# 2 - If you have a VIDEO card installed, plus integrated video...remove the better AGP, PCI, or PCIe video card and boot off of integrated to gain your display back.

# 3 - If your system has integrated video and no additional better video card installed, borrow or buy a video card to gain access to the system with video support. This action would only affect the device selected and new video devices would INITIALIZE with their new properties.

# 4 - Perform Windows Repair from OEM CD ( this will be drastic...you could lose data and wilh have to reinstall applications.)

(((BTW: What were you trying to achieve in there playing with this setting???)))
