Solve : Problem with installing RAM? |

Answer» Okay, my computer is a GREAT Quality or GQ 6084, it has a 2600 Athlon processor. I've just bought a NEW piece of RAM, 256MB DDR 266. I installed, but my computer, for some reason, won't recognize it. After a while of turning my PC of and on, and removing the stick back and forth, my monitor, now won't work. When I put the memory stick in, all I see is black on my monitor, and when it is out, it works fine. Can anyone help me with this?Maybe you bought the wrong type of memory for your computer. I think that your mother board doesn't support the RAM you've just baught. So try some other models and purchase one which is completely supported by your computer's main borad.
