Answer» i was using my mouse like normal when all of a sudden it locked/froze on screen. i REBOOTED and now my mouse doesn't work at all. i was using a cordless mouse through a usb PORT, i CHANGED the batteries and it still doesn't work. i've even tried plugging a regular mouse into the ps/2 port and still i GET nothing. PLEASE HELP!!If you boot into SafeMode do yous still have no mouse? Alan <>Also with cordless meece when you CHANGE batteries you need to "connect" the device to the reciever afterwards. This is done with a small button on the meece or reciever or it can be done thru Control Panel/Mouse/Properties. patio8-)
