Dear all,

I have Intel dual Core Processpr 1.6 ghz with intel motherboard. I have a problem that my computer suddently turn off automatically. I am not sure whether it is due to heating problem or something else because sometime the computer work very well for hours and sometimes it start shutting off WITHIN minutes. I am REALLY not able to understand as what to do as I have purchase this PC few days back.

Can anyone help me?

Since your computer is newly purchased the chances of somthing being wrong with your hardware are less , but still first could you tell us what firewall are you using?Also the make/model of the computer and flavour of Windows installed.I'm going to say phone the company tell them you think your power supply unit is busted claim on your warranty , 6 to 7 years later bingo you have your computer working again..... it could as you SAID also be other things .....

and your actual CPU ....

maybe the power SWITCH is not well attached to the
motherboard, etc...


your motherboard could also be getting hot ........ but i think its best if you claim on a warranty as a faulty and its free
