Answer» I have the XP operating system. I have some TEXT files created using WORKS stored as .wps files. When I am WORKING in DOS and try to TYPE them using TYPE FILEMAME.WPS I get SIX characters of garbage. One of the files I tried to type GAS 10,240 characters.
