Solve : Problems with Canon MF5700? |

Answer» I have 2 Canon MF 5700s. Problem with one is that when it prints, there is a line about 2" in from left margin that messes up the characters going right down the PAGE. If there is a BLANK spot on the page, it leaves a black mark on the page. I thought it might be the cartridge. Have cleaned it off and same thing happens. So, I tried the cartridge in the other printer, and no problem. The problem only occurs when printing - not copying or when receiving faxes. Any ideas? The troubleshooting manual doesn't address this issue and can't find anything online. It is REALLY becoming a problem for me and I don't want to spend the money to get a new printer if I don't have to. |
