Solve : processor and ram memory?

Answer»

hi my question is my processor and ram showing full memory.my processor is 1ghz and ram is 256.when i right click on my computer icon and there i check properties the system shows full memory.in fact system uses some memory for itself then it shows the other.anybody can help me what is reason?I don't understand what you want to say, if you want to SEE how your computer resources (and which processes use those resources ) are used just pressed ctrl+alt+delete (for Windows ) and you will see.

Also depending on your operating system some resources of your pc could not be recognized. (something like old hardware new operating system cause that)

Hope this helps.

Go to Start, Run, and type dxdiag in the Run box and hit Enter. When that has finished running, click the tab for Display in that report panel. How much does it show for video memory? If you add the amount shown there to the amount of RAM shown in Properties for My Computer, do the two numbers add up to 256? 256 Mg of RAM is the bare minimum at todays standards...
RAM is dirt cheap now...add more.
Travel to Crucial's site and run the online scanner that will tell you what type to buy.Quote from: kakagee on July 03, 2010, 01:05:39 AM

XP has an excellent utility, "Task Manager", that will answer most of your questions.

Right click an OPEN spot on the Task Bar at the BOTTOM of your screen and choose "Task Manager"

Add more Ram: 256 is not enough.

start, run [ msconfig ]. Only load programs you need at startup ( save RAM ). Be very careful and not shutdown essential programs

Run your antivirus and all cleanup programs. Run CCleaner. Run Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware.
Run sfc /scannowDo NOT use msconfig to manage startup programs -- it is STRICTLY a diagnostic utility. You can download and use a simple utility like Mike Lin's Startup Control Panel to perform that function (http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml)
