Solve : Processor or Motherboard? |

Answer» I have a computer that starts but see nothing on screen and shuts down after 12 seconds so I took out processor know it runs and did not shut down does this mean the processor is at fault or could motherboard still be at fault? I took mother board out to SOLDIER ac ADAPTER jack and when reintalling processor into mother board it was just sitting on top of pins did not turn the 1/2 turn screw to let pins go into socket, it run but no screen and after taking apart and getting it right then it would shut off after 12 seconds DELL told me it is bad motherboard but I think it could only have ruined processor and I never remover the processor from the heat sink seems to glued on good.Well you have to make some tests, replace processor if you have acess to 1,ect.It could be the board and processor are bad? |
