Solve : Processor too small for win7/vista??

Answer»

looks like a Problem with the CPU/motherboard, then.FML.

Any way to differentiate to find which is the problem? Not without buying the same CPU and MBoard and testing it yourself or taking it to a shop.mm I got a buddy giving me a new cpu...
if I install it, would I just run prime95 again, to verify it was the cpu?yep.Cool,
Once again, I really really appreciate everyone's help.
I'll update this once I receive the PENTIUM dual core duo.Quote from: seansmgp2 on October 05, 2009, 06:48:43 PM

Alright, good luck!

EDIT: you MIGHT also want to TRY other CPU testing programs, just to be sure.Any ideas on other ones? Quote from: seansmgp2 on October 05, 2009, 08:22:11 PM

Ask BC_Programmer if there is any space left...
in his Motherboard Graveyard. Keep forgetting to add cpu temps!!

temp1: ~47C w/ firefox up, this tends to rise once using diablo to ~50-52
temp3:42C this one usually stays here even under load.

I have seen temp 1 hit around 70C, but that was before I installed 2x 1gb sticks of ram.Wow! I love the FML reference First time Iv'e seen it used outside of Fmylife.com.

Sorry to hear about that though.
I HOPE the new CPU fixes it, though I do have other ideas if that doesn't WORK, but for now I'll cross my fingers and hope for ya Quote from: Kurtiskain on October 05, 2009, 11:07:53 PM
