Answer» this might seem like a dumb topic but I cant seem to find the information im LOOKING for anywhere. I need to get a new powersupply and want to know the difference between psii and ps2.2 RATED power supplies. I think both supplies are minus the rocker switch on the back for on/off functions. ANYWAY, any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.What MBoard and machine are you getting this PSU for ? ?Im not 100% sure what mobo I am going with yet. I was looking at building a HTPC using this case http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/product/Chassis/desktop/mozart/vc4001sns.asp In the spec it says it supports only psii power supplies but the power supplies I would like to use are all ps2.2 and im not sure if they are compaitable or not.I would settle on what MBoard and COMPONENTS are going in to this build FIRST and then choose an appropiate PSU...
