Do I check into like a computer store or something and whats the average price range for changing a psu?List exactly what puter your GETTING and the included "hardware" that comes with it and any you might be adding to the computer... let us see what you will be powering up ?

-Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
-3Gb Ram
-NVIDIA 7350LE
-640GB HD
-Vista Home Premium.
I'm pretty sure there is a 350W PSU already in.
I want to put in a 500W or higher one. So i can put in a 8800 NVIDIA card. I'm probably also going to put in another 1Gb of RAM. And upgrading my sound card. Thanks.OK, here is a link to a bunch of 500-600 watt psu

If you get real comfortable later down the road and keep coming here and learning, you could do much with that sweet hardware....just consider...maybe more POWER would not be bad... 650-750

It is very easy to change a power supply yourself, we can help you...do not pay anyone to do it.... be BRAVE....

get an idea here whats available, if you cannot purchase from them...we can find you a good online retailer up there in Canada,,,, do not,,,,, Buy one from a store , you will pay WAY more!
